RUFFNEK & the National Trust - Pooch Passport

RUFFNEK & the National Trust - Pooch Passport
RUFFNEK is delighted to announce our collaboration with the National Trust on their newest initative aimed at showcasing their numberous dog-friendly estates. The National Trust got in touch with us to produce a reflective Ruffnek dog snood inspired by our current range of canine bandanas. We provided them with a blueprint, and they creatively came up with an eye-catching design drawing inspiration from their distinctive NT emblem, exclusively for a Limited Edition giveaway.

Sadly, far to big for my two dogs who got their 12 stamps each which was such a shame… perhaps next time if this runs you could do a S/M & a M/L, my dogs are wire haired dachshunds (fyi). Love the detail of the NT symbol and reflective stripe we will have to give the snoods away to larger doggy friends sadly. Thank you however.

Thank you, Ashley, for your comments and feedback!

Congratulations on reaching 12 visits—I hope you and your dachshunds had a fantastic time exploring the National Trust properties. We really appreciate your suggestion regarding snood/Ruffnek sizes. Unfortunately, due to manufacturing constraints, we aren’t able to offer different sizes at the moment, but it’s definitely something we’ll consider if production techniques change.

As this was a new initiative, predicting demand for multiple sizes would have been challenging for the National Trust. However, I’ll certainly pass your feedback along, and it might be helpful for them to take note of different breed sizes for any future schemes.

In the meantime, if it’s not too late, I do have a little tip that might help! Due to the stretchy nature of the fabric, some of our customers tie a small knot in the side or use a hairband to create a custom fit without sewing. It’s a simple trick that might make the snoods work better for your dachshunds.

Thanks again for your support, and I hope you and your dogs continue to enjoy your National Trust adventures! 🐶

Hi Pete, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The great news is, as you can read in our latest blog, that the National Trust’s initiative has been such a success that it’s now been rolled out across the country! That’s definitely a positive step forward. We hope you’ve had the chance to visit as many properties as possible to receive your special edition doggy bandana! If you do, please feel free to tag us on Instagram at @ruffnek_uk and use #poochpassport—we’d love to see your adventures. Thanks again.

Thank you so much Catherine for both your comments and for your lovely feedback. We’re so glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed your visits to the National Trust properties! We really appreciate your suggestion regarding the snood/Ruffnek sizes, unfortunately this is something we are not able to do at the moment but we’re always looking for ways to improve, and offering different sizes is definitely something we’ll consider.
Thank you again for your support, and congratulations on getting your 12th stamp at Runnymede!

Please can you offer different sizes of snood/ruffneck. My miniature poodle received hers after we had visited 12 different National Trust properties. Unfortunately it is far too big for her small neck and just falls off when she puts her head down.
